Ceiling from Law Society of Upper Canada building

Went to Open Doors Toronto on the weekend, got this shot of the ceiling of the Society's building. Could not use tripods which in some ways a shame, to truly get the beauty of the glass, however their were people all over and a tripod would only have gotten in the way.

    Cheers:

    Allan

Well done, Allan. Very well made image.

One suggestion - A counter clockwise rotation to straighten up the 'tilt' to the right.

    Excellent work. Nicely done.

Very nice as everyone has mentioned. However, to get the image straight, I don't think tilting it alone will be sufficient. That's because the strong horizontal line in the foreground seems to be tilted less than the strong horizontal line in the rear. If I'm right about that, you'll need to twist the image.

A very nice shot Allan - I suspect that it must have been very crowded, so it was shot under difficult conditions.

It's Open Doors in Ottawa this weekend, so the girls are trying to decide what to visit. The "Diefenbunker" seems to be #1 on their list, so hopefully I'll have as much luck as you did getting some great shots.

Allan, I had the same thought as Donald and Mike. I downloaded your image and applied a grid. I did a rotation of 1 degree counter- clockwise and cropped to even the 2 sides. The resultant image is pretty darn close, according to the grid. It could probably still use just a touch of "twisting", as Mike said.

I hope I have not offended you by editing your beautiful image.
