Irish Brigade
Reenactors of the Fighting 69th New York State Volunteers (later to become the 69th New York National Guard) parade in the San Diego Saint Patrick's Parade. The 69th New York formed a part of the Irish Brigade which fought valiantly in many of America's bloodiest Civil War battles such as Bull Run, Antietam, Fredricksburg and Gettysburg.

Good street shot. They also take this sort of thing seriously over here in the UK. Did you manage to get any close-ups?
