    Nice effort, a bit too much DOF though, it's detail fades away.

    I cannot agree here. I would like to see more of the hinder edge in focus, perhaps losing some of the closer leaf in focus.

    I wasn't even considering the leaf area, it's the wings that lose it for me, it gets kind of fuzzy and the detail is lost.

    I think John meant to say "too little", John.

    And then Brian made it hard on himself by shooting from the front, necessitating more DOF than perhaps even achievable at that distance, as opposed to shooting from the top or the side:
