Both very nice compositions and the vintage trams look really nice Phil Is it possible to fix the white clouds in the second image. They look too bright with no details.

I remember these from holidays in Blackpool in the 50s when I was just a little boy. Your photos show that they don't appear to have changed and they still look in great condition. I agree with Binnur, and the sky looks much more natural in Post #3; perhaps tweak the saturation of the open-top tram colours to somewhere in-between the look of Posts #1 and #3?

    Cheers.

The sky looks much better in this version Phil, you can pop the colors of the tram just a bit though

Very nice; they have some at Crich museum but I seem to have lost the images.

    Thanks John and Steve.

Apparently the correct term for these vehicles is 'TramTrain' and there are 'purple' ones and 'green and yellow' ones and a 'green and yellow one with upstairs' which he hasnt been on yet. The words of Grandson Malachi aged 2 and a half.

    thanks again

Nice shot Steve. Havent got round to visiting there yet.

Hi Phil...I kinda like all of them but specially #1. Are those characters on the top on each side of the tram balloons or blow up ones? Just curious...are these on the sort of a transportation museum where you took them?

Hi Izzie, the figures are part of the 'Blackpool Illuminations' a light show that takes place in the autumn and runs along the seafront promenade for a distance of 10km. You drive through the lights and if you want make a donation in one of the collection bins as you pass. The tram tracks run alongside the road from Blackpool to Fleetwood a port north of Blackpool for a distance of 12km. The vintage trams are brought out during the holiday season and run trips for part of the way along the promenade. They start at the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool's fairground, near the South Pier past Central Pier and up to North Pier where they turn round. There is a Tram Museum at Starr Gate the southern terminus of the line beyond South Pier.

Thanks for the further info. I spent part of my afternoon wow-ing the shows on YouTube as if I have nothing to do. LOL Hubby loved it too. Thanks for the entertainment of the day.
