La Machine - Long Ma the Dragon Horse awakens

Long Ma is a celestial beingthat is half-horse and half dragon. It had been sleeping at Ottawa City Hall and has woken and started heading down Elgin Street.

This is one of two creations by the French Performance Art group that is in Ottawa for four days. It spews flames, smoke and water (I got a bit wet). It is made of steel and wood.

Yesterday's photographic challenge was shooting a creature at night; today's challenge was shooting at mid-day while it was bright and sunny out.

Fascinating series Manfred, especially like the build up to #3, flicking through at my full screen size in LyteBox without having previously seen the smaller versions by scrolling the thread.

Both #2 and #3 exhibit excellent timing (or 'pick from burst sequence' selection), very engaging.
