    I think you could try... But I can assure you from experience. I have in my possession 3 x 500W Halogen fixtures and bulbs that you're welcome to. Very cheap!

    Don't forget a flash puts out approximately 50Watt Seconds and has a duration of about 1/1000 of a second (rough numbers), so 50,000 is a lot different than say 100 Watts.

    I just want to say this was an insanely helpful thread. Answered EXACTLY my questions and ways around it. Very hard to find a clear answer on this anywhere else.
