Model Goes on Strike!
My typically near-endlessly patient model finally had had enough, and thus... another photo op

Re: Model Goes on Strike!
Kevin,
With all respects possible, this is not working for me.
Head looks flat, almost squized, feets are to thick, and overall possition is a deeply paintful one. Sorry, but not with you here.

Re: Model Goes on Strike!
All of us have our breaking point!
All that pressure in front of the lens, to perform and be looking at our best day in-day out. It's got to take a toll.
Show that one in about 20 years from now. You'll be loved for it!

Oh dear. It appears she would like to renegotiate the contract.
Love it

Re: Model Goes on Strike!
Don and Deb, glad you appreciate it for what it is.
Leo, I think you'll be glad to know that this was not a posed shot. A fraction of a second earlier, she was sitting upright cute as a button, then slumped backward when she realized she was sick of posing. I cloned out her Dad's hand which was on her knee. Her Mom thinks the shot is quite funny, and put it on Facebook. Were I intentionally tormenting this child and photographing it, I would have employed the adjustments you suggested

Re: Model Goes on Strike!
Relations were promptly repaired with a Lifesaver candy, and a moratorium against any further shooting for the remainder ofthe day. I am returned to the lovely lady's good graces, and life is good.

Re: Model Goes on Strike!
Hi Kevin, how are you? It's been a while since we last chatted! I am glad to hear that management, and union have made amends. I just wanted to pop onto the forum and let you know that I think your reply in post 5 was probably the funniest I've read on here in ages.
Not only a picture to add to the family photo album, but you made me laugh - so you're having a great day!

Re: Model Goes on Strike!
Just a final thought.
There are three occasions on which this photograph is going to be an ABSOLUTE MUST for public display amongst all those present:
- Her 21st birthday party
- Her wedding day
- The day on which she becomes a parent (just as a reminder of what's in store!)

Re: Model Goes on Strike!
Kevin, that is truely worthy of keeping for a future event. I have a couple of my daughter that I have to keep moving around so she won't delete them. GOOD STUFF

Re: Model Goes on Strike!
Every time I look at this I have to chuckle, Kevin!
I’ve ended up just like this when the stupid strobes won’t fire, the stupid computer crashed, all the stupid batteries are dead, I left my stupid gray card at home, I can't get the stupid reflector folded back up to get it jammed in the stupid bag, and I just spilled stupid coffee down my stupid shirt!
Thanks for making my day, Kevin!

Re: Model Goes on Strike!
A photo that any family member would want to have.
Try cropping it on the right side so the frame is at the heel of the right shoe. For me, that allows the anguish in the child's face to be the subject rather than the entire body.
