Re: Rainbow Road
Not so much to comment, Jason (It is a very, very nice image), but a number of members have been asking if people could post up the basic EXIF data when it's not embedded in the image (Camera, Lens, Exposure Settings). I'm sure that would help newer members with their learning.

Re: Rainbow Road
Hi Jason,
That's beautiful - a real kaleidoscope of colours.
I see no noise; did you have to remove much, or is that an indication of how good full-frame sensors are?
I can see a horizontal line on the left edge at the height of the highest part of the building. What do you think that is?
Regards
Tony

Re: Rainbow Road
I wonder about a very slight crop from the top and right side, Jason?
That will move the horizon closer to the middle, but at the moment all that dark sky seems to upset the overall balance for me.

Re: Rainbow Road
Gorgeous image! The crop that would work best for me would be at the top just below the second highest level of the tallest building.

Re: Rainbow Road
Really nice, Jason. Harlem has never looked that good to me before. I like the composition as is, without any crop. I second Tony's suggestion to have a look at what appears to be an artifact on the left. Well done.

Re: Rainbow Road
Thanks everyone. Tony I think the lack of noise stems from the full frame sensor. I did no nr in post or in camera as an attempt to preserve sharpness.
I think I may attempt showing more horizontal space in the image if i get another chance. I have wanted to see it under more interesting clouds for some time now but havent had my camera with me on days there were.

Re: Rainbow Road
I came back to this group to see what was new. I notice that many of the previous contest winners are asked about how they did an image and no info is given in most cases. Kind of hard to learn that way.

Re: Rainbow Road
Lyn, all of the EXIF info for the shot here was kindly posted by Jason, directly below the image.
I can't speak for any of the other images you mention, but I for one am happy to publish all of my EXIF.
Fantastic shot by the way Jason!! Very nicely done.

Re: Rainbow Road
Thanks Andrew. Im not sure why some people would want to keep their exif a secret, especially here being a learning community.

Re: Rainbow Road
Just brilliant Jason, the outstanding colours reflecting at the bottom of frame are a perfect contrast to the grey at the top. I would hang this on my wall if I were you and sell it to the city of Harlem to let all see what a beautiful place it can be if you take time to look. Lets see some more.
