Re: Call me!
Hi Harmon, cute kid.
You have really got a good sharp image there.
The child is in really sharp focus which is good, the background, alas is a bit distracting, especially the foot from nowhere on the right had side of the photo.
Perhaps some clone work to remove the offending foot and maybe a slight ccw rotation of the image will help.
I know you have to grab the shot when it presents itself but if possible think what is in the background before you take the photo.
This little man is very photogenic, perhaps you could set up a photo shoot in a better environment. I bet you could come up with some great shots.
Cheers, Greg

Re: Call me!
Amen to everything Greg mentioned except that I'm not bothered by the tilt. For me, the tilt implies that the child is oblivious to everyone and everything because the only thing that matters is the telephone and the concentration on the photographer. In fact, the tilt reminds me of this famous photograph by Cartier-Bresson.
I would consider eliminating the distracting ceiling light and I think I would like the photo even better in black-and-white.

Really? How many feet would you prefer? Two more? Three more?

Re: Call me!
Thank you all for viewing, I knew the foot was gonna be a problem, but I also felt like the kid would still tell the story. I had to get the shot anyway. He just grabbed the phone.
