Helpful Posts: Jonathon has a condition in which he does not get proper blood supply to his hip. He is going in for surgery tomorrow to correct the problem. The orthopedic vet says that his prognosis for recovery will be good but, that he will need excercise to build up muscle tone. That means a ten minute walk 3-4x a day and swimming in our pool. We have doggy swim jackets in different sizes just for this kind or rehablitation. Our pool is solar heated and we expect some pretty warm weather.
