I visited China, not too long after the Beijing Olympics. Because of the influx of Western visitors, the government had taken the initiative to add English to a lot of signs that were originally in Chinese; sometimes with humorous results. The new signage coined a term: "Chinglish"...
This one was over a urinal in a men's lavatory in the Summer Palace:
