Brian,
Great shot. What I suspect Nandakumar was referring to are the green leaves in the center upper frame. You could try cloning them out or darkening them down so the green doesn't call out for attention. A bit of hot spots on the main leaf but otherwise the bronze color of the leaf, the light and shadows makes for a great picture.
Dear Brian,
Here is a thought. Not better - just a different crop and some enhancing.

Strangely i never thought of the freshly fallen star apple leaf in the corner as a distraction. But there is no debate that removing it changes the feeling. here is where i need some help... how did you remove the hot spots. I haven't figured that out yet.
Here is a different leaf from the same shoot, the hot spots are there in nature because of the leaf structure.
Brian, this is very nice. I like the colors and light this one. You have not completely blown out the highlights (lost all detail) on your image so you will be able to work with this and your first image. I am sorry I do not have a technical background, or I would be better able to help you.
I used Nik filters in CS5 and cropped slightly. Again, please understand that what I have done is strictly my own opinion. You have 2 perfectly nice images. Thank you for indulging me.
