I am very happy to provide comments when these are requested. However, I would be interested in reading your own assessment of the picture. If this was an image posted by someone else and you were invited to provide comment and criticism, what would you write?

Very interesting; nice angle; eye contact; non-centered position of bird.... i liked it

Donald, the bird looks nice to me but the twigs in the background is disturbing. I have placed the bird off-centre and done some amounting of vignetting. However looks slightly soft focussed. Am i right?

I do not mind the twigs in the background. I think they show us that the bird is in its natural environment. The one twig I do find a bit distracting is that one in the foreground, coming from the bottom of the frame and reaching upwards to the 11 o'clock position.

I like the idea of the vignette. My own taste would be for a vignette that was more subtle and less obvious. But I appreciate that when we are beginning to use vignettes, we tend to use them a bit heavily.
