David,
What a magnificent dog! Lovely image also. Would you think of cropping out some of the foreground? The image attracts my attention towards Skye a bit better with just gravel as the foreground...
How much does this beauty weigh?

Thank you Richard, yes she is a beauty, she is large for a bitch, nearly 50kg but a complete softy as are 99% of Rotties. When I lived in Scotland I had this breed for 30yrs,fantastic dogs if they are reared properly. When I am at my computer tomorrow I will try that crop.
Cheers David
How is this Richard?

Great looking dog!
Hi Chris,thank you for commenting!
David ...I love Rotties! They are magnificent dogs. My current and third one is 153lbs, born in Texas, nearly 4 year old and huge. As the saying goes ..everything in Texas is either B-I-G or huge. Mine is huge and occupies our king size bed at night
Hi Isabel, yes they are a magnificent breed, both loving and loyal, not to forget courageous.
We have another 4 rescue dogs, they are all a bit of this and a bit of that lol,but all great dogs! You must post a pic of yours on here, like you i also love them, thanks for commenting
I still have problems uploading photos but I will try this one...the left side is when Tucker (our current Rottie) was about 3 months and the right one is his new photo after the snow melted recently from our deck...nothing changed much...hmmmm...it loaded...!!! yeyyyy!!
And oh, I did not clone out the dirt from his eyes because it is part of him. His tear ducts never really developed well...
C&Cwelcome..I'd like to know what you and others think of my boy (and photo) if you will...
He looks a cracker Isabel, its amazing how quick they go from tiny puppy to being huge and still thinking they are a puppy lol, your pic of him on the right looks a little blue-ish,a common prob when we photograph black dogs, its easy fixed with most software, apart from that he's a beauty!
Cheers David
I can't remove his blue. I tried ACR, Levels and whatever else in Photoshop blue won't go away... Maybe I should have turned him to B/W instead. It is a safe option you know..
When he was little bit after 5 weeks, we flew to Dallas to get him. He has everything from mange, worms, name it, he has it! He tidied up pretty good, huh?
How did you do it??? He is looking so real there...exactly the way he looks now...did you increase the yellow or something? What settings did you use? Thanks.
Hi Isabel,i use, among others, lightroom, all i did was went to the colour sliders and reuced the blue slider until he looked right, reduced the highlights, then added 10% clarity, and wehey Tucker is black!
I like the crop you did, really looks like great catch. Amazing dog David. Truly beautiful
Thanks Claudio, she is a great dog, but my other four are just as goodand as a dog owner yourself, when anybody asks you, yours are equally as good cheers for commenting bud.
