    Morning Glory

Having a dog means you are out for a walk every day come rain or shine.

This morning for instance we had howling wind and sleet every step of the way...which I have to say was rather unpleasant .....one morning last week though we had this:

    Morning Glory

    Morning Glory

Really nice, except for the sleet...
Like the 1 st best, but the sunset reflections on sand are very nice captures.

It was one of those perfect mornings - cold - but fabulous.
Glad I had my iPhone with me.

If you are referring to me, yes...I am sure glad I have Tucker - - I thought he is a handful until I adopted Roxie, a blue heeler. I'd like to find a beach like that in the photo to run our dogs to. And with a beautiful scenario like that, I am sure they will leave me alone to take some magnificent shots like that... if I can do it...

Most of the time I love having a dog, it does get you out which has to be healthy. We're lucky enough to live on the coast so this beach is about ten minutes walk from the house and as such has become my 'Patch'. I have seen it is every weather, at just about every time of day, at low tide, high tide....it is never the same twice.

It's just getting light now, the dashboard thingy on the iMac says high tide was about two hours ago and its 6°C and cloudy.
That means if I take him down now I'll get a little light on the horizon and a very monochrome pallet of steel greys.....think another cup of coffee might be a better idea

They are superb, by all means. I wanted to give at least three likes, but, alas, if i click a second time that would turn "unlike"

So treet that to be a triple like

Just goes to show that it is not the camera but the eye behind it. The middle one for me has everything, the movement in the wave just breaking and the backwash, gives it the edge over the other two, which are still excellent.

    Robin;

    As Ian said it
Just goes to show that it is not the camera but the eye behind it.
    ...

So, now I'm off to get a dog and an iPhone! Who knew that was the trick to capturing great images like these?
