The last time I was in Southern Ontairo, in the fall. I did a series of shots of the sheave tower of the Blair Mill as the leaves were near their peak in the autumn. The mill (which still operates commercially, albeit without the water power) is in the former Village of Blair, which is now part of the City of Cambridge, Ontario, about an hour west of Toronto.

I was in the area again last weekend and trudged in through the snow to do a winter series. Time was tight (I could only spare about 30 minutes, it was around noon and the area was getting hit by a series of snow squalls. Hardly ideal for getting good images, but then there is always post... A little help from Kik Color Efex Pro 4 Detail Extractor let me get a bit of "pop" into the shots.
