The Winter Commute.......how is yours?

Here is a picture snapped from my iPhone on the walk home from work. Having the iPhone camera in my pocket and finding myself frequently snapping pictures is what provided the motivation for me to become more serious and begin to learn to take pictures on purpose. Truth is, that process of learning is a bit stalled at the moment. I'm prone to over thinking and becoming excessively concerned with why I've not just taken "the best image ever!" Ha, the standards we hold ourselves to are so often the most difficult to meet. With those thoughts in mind I am posting this image to remind myself why I do this -- for the fun and challenge. Thanks for looking and would love to see your winter commuting pictures.

A bit off my usual morning commute, but only a few hundred metres north on a country road off the main highway

PS The foot was just for fun. I found a clear running river to wash up and eventually found a bus driver that would let me on board.
