    Messing Around

    Used LR to convert to b&w. i have no idea how to use it at all (obvious) but gotta start somewhere right? one of my first shots when i got my camera. shot in auto

    What did you do to convert, move the saturation slider? Did you try adjusting clarity or contrast afterward?

    i used the b&w mix to darken the blues a wee bit then used the split toning to adjust some saturation. i did not use the clarity or contrast....actually i just messed with the clarity...would have looked much better i think....

    There is also a preset for B & W, looks bland when applied, so recommendation from Kelby is to use the white/highlight sliders to set white point and black/shadow to set shadows. Scott Kelby has a how to for each version of LR.
