    10/10 for spelling, punctuation, and grammar (well done!), but the image appears to be suffering from a complete lack of sharpening

    If you're having DoF / focus issues you might have more success backing up a bit and cropping more -- just a thought.

    I think I liked it better with lousy grammar and a good shot. But you are right it does not look 'right'. However, it was sharpened.

    You really need to take a look at it after sharpening though and ask "was the sharpening effective?" and "can I make this any better?" To be brutally honest, the first thing that came to my mind when I say it was "it doesn't look like it's been sharpened at all".

    No two images will be optimal with the same sharpening - especially if you're needing the sharpening to compensate for other minor focus / DoF / Movement issues.

    Variation on a theme. Switched direction and tried new sharpening.
