Very good composition. One quibble; I think your post-processing added some black halos atop the clouds.

Consider backing off a bit on the darkest blue tones, as they seem a bit too heavily polarized and distract from the subject.

I like it. It reminds me of my old home town in Western Pennsylvania. There was a hill and a tree just like that on a farm next to town. I used to take my dog out for a walk and when we got to the end of the road we would run up that hill as fast as we could and collapse there. I would lean on the tree and Cinders would put his head on my lap while I looked out over the valley to the steel mills and thought about getting the hell out of town as soon as I graduated.

I still love the town and the people but I sure didn't want to go to the mills.
