After the Snow
Canon 60d with 24-105mm 1/250th 28mm ISO 320 f10
Captured this image of my the sidewalk in my neighborhood after the storm last week. Used a gray card to set the exposure right before. Was thinking black and white and I believe it is a better B&W image. Processed it thru Lightroom. C&C welcome.
Thanks
Tim

Re: After the Snow
If there is a way to bring out the texture in the snow by increasing its grey tones, that would be great. I don't know how to do that using Lightroom, so I'm sorry that I'm no help with that.

Re: After the Snow
I love this - what a great concept and capture of life. Did you take any others with a shallower depth of field as I think that may work too.

Re: After the Snow
Hi Mike yes I will try when i get home. Have been going thru some Lightroom tutorials on Lynda.com and as I captured In raw should be doable. Kaye dont think i do was going depth of field will be open 8:30 to 5:00 tomorrow and the lens only goes to F4. Thank you both fir your comments and criteques

Re: After the Snow
In B&W there is quite a lot of featureless area in the foreground and more particularly the sky. I wonder if a different crop would work. Maybe try 5 x 4 ratio or even square?
