Nice series, you're too good at this, go back to the challenges.
Another nice set of pellies, Christina. Looks like you PP is improving. Nice detail in the surf and in the dark parts of the birds. Colors nicely saturated too. Good job.
Thank you.
John, no worries! Just the other day I took some images of a gorgeous sunlit silvery, indeed magical sea... No doubt I will post them, one day.
Thanks Dan. I'm trying and your advice has helped me a lot.
I wonder if the pelican is the moose of the bird world.
Great pics Christine. I wish we had some of these guys around here.
Very nice Chiristina,I agree with John that you have to go for landscapes after having a rest.
When I last checked, the "moose of the bird world" was the cardinal... at a feeder. These are great - tack sharp and beautifully captured and managed light. I like the ones where there is action blur at the wing tips. How are you ever going to pick your favs, Christina, you have so many beauties!?
They are exxxcellent; the peli is in a hilarious mood to play touch me not with sea waves; really funny
Thank you to all.
Rita, we have no pelicans in Vancouver. These shots are from Dec 2013 in Mexico. Fortunately I have a good stash of shots.
Mark, Thank you. I tend to like the funny ones the best.
Mike, If you mean Moose of the Bird World because they are large and somewhat klutzy that seems like an apt description.
I love photographing pelicans because they are so comical in action, yet at other times they appear beautiful and elegant.
Binnur, I will post another landscape, soon enough, likely too soon, for all.
