Helpful Posts: I visited a local botanic garden but, really didn't like any images I captured. I realized this as I was shooting...
Anyway, so the trip would not be a complete waste, I decided to play with some way out processing using my NIK Software...
These are some of the results...
I am still not in love with the images but, it was a lot of fun playing with them...

I think #2 is awesome!
But then, I do like "off the wall" edits sometimes.

I'd say it worked out really well. I really like the 3-D/depth feel of the first and third.

Thanks folks... I am really ambivalent about these images but, learned a lot about NIK Color Efex Pro while doing the post processing. I had seldom used Color Efex Pro except for the image borders included in that filter.

Tone the diagonal stem on the last image so the green it starts out as is along its entire length and I think it will make the photo better. Usually people put thier best images first and the weakest last but for me I rate them more or less in reverse order.

Not a bad idea to poke around with something different once in a while. I like the second one best.
