It feels as if it's leaning over to the left, yet that tree front & centre is straight. But other verticals, such as on the bus stop, seem to need a clockwise rotation.
Good use of the pathway to take us back into the image. A nice documentary record of life in your community.
My initial thought is that it looks very natural and needs someone walking in the foreground area of the sidewalk.
EDIT: My second thought is that it makes a wonderful monochrome. The sidewalk's role as a leading line is even more powerful in black-and-white.
Yes, there seems to be a lot of foreground which doesn't really add much in the way of interest.
I'm wondering about a slight crop from the bottom and left side. Which will concentrate more on the bus stop and make that the main point of interest.
Hi Dedric, although you can't always tell if an image isn't level by the trees, the bus stop shelter would likely have been built level. In a way, for most images, it doesn't matter if it is actually level or not. What matters is how it affects the viewer. If it doesn't look level, then it detracts from the enjoyment of the scene and may be worth addressing.![]()
It might help you to know that I didn't notice that the image might be tilted. Moreover, after reviewing everyone's comments about that, I still don't get a sense that it's tilted.
