Re: Rainbow Rider
Wonderful image, John. It's not just the rainbow that works so well.

Re: Rainbow Rider
I like the way you did this water -- it looks real, not the mushy ones...the background is great. Wonderful treatment.

Re: Rainbow Rider
I like the guy on the jet ski but the processing pretty much kills it for me.
The background looks very grainy, like it was painted on, which may be what you were going for. Plus there's a pretty good halo around the rider. Especially on the right.
I'm sorry John, but this one just isn't blowing my skirt up.

Re: Rainbow Rider
Thanks all for the comments.
Izzie, Bob, the water is real. Nothing has been added to this image. Bob, the graininess is just the spray that has been kicked up as the jet boat rounded a buoy at the end of the course. Although I didn't see it at the time, the rainbow was there - not unusual in spray and sunshine. When I say I had pp'd it, all I did was to exaggerate it (Saturate it) a bit more. However, you are definitely right about the halo. It is there and it must be down to processing somewhere. A bit sloppy on my part.

Re: Rainbow Rider
I like it. It sort of looks like a painting. Very nice shot.
