Church of San Pietro Martire in Vigevano

Some pictures of the Church of San Pietro Martire in Vigevano (Pavia, Italy).

Exif info of the pictures (lost during processing) can be found on the page http://www.milanofotografo.it/englis...0e%20monuments

All pictures are double exposures taken with a Fuji s100fs and separated by 2 stops, fused using the algorythm on the page http://www.milanofotografo.it/englishFotografiaHDR.aspx and finally optimized using Faststone.

The church is very dark, so the camera was pushed to its limits, in the two pictures taken with the camera handheld (first and third).

This is a very nice series of images. You accomplished your objective very well without an HDR look. The glariness of the windows is especially prominent and perhaps a bit much in the third image, but I think it looks "right" in the first two. Thanks for sharing the interesting site - it worked well for these.

    Thank you for appreciating!
The windows are sometimes prominent because the extra dynamic range added is not much (just 2 stops), so if some parts of the scene are very dark, to let some details appear also there it is necessary to overexpose the brighter parts of the scene.
But with one single picture the situation would have been worse!

These images look very good. I wish they had been posted at a larger size so that when we click on them we see them larger in the Lightbox. We cannot appreciate the detail and the subtle beauty when the images are so small.

I really like the first two; but a bit uncomfortable about the angle of the third
