Beautiful, and especially creative! A smile-maker!
WOW .. how do you do this?
That is particularly creative. I like that. Two more and you could hang them on a wall.![]()
How pretty is this Terry! Nicely composed.

I sure appreciate you guys taking the time to comment. Thank you.
Denise these are all a bunch of splashes that I shot in the studio when I made this image:
I took the splashes and cut out what I thought I wanted for the butterfly and put them on layers on a black canvas in Photoshop. I shot the original splashes against a black background so that made it easier.
I used the Free Transform and Warp tools primarily to help get the layers shaped nicely. When I got something I liked I duped the layer and Free Transformed it to look like a mirror image of its counterpart. I warped it a bit so it wouldn’t be exactly symmetrical. Put it all together using layer masks and cleaned it up when I got everything like I wanted it. Sharpened it a tad and since it was Mother’s Day sprinkled a little Mother’s Love on it!
Very creative !! Thanks for the how to steps . . .
Hello Terry: Thanks for sharing your process. These images are very cool. I have not seen anything like that before.
