"Can't see the wood for the trees"
A couple of shots going past a local saw mill today, a ''before and after'' shot. All c&c welcome.
#1. The before shot, all with character.

It is absolutely amazing what post processing can do for an image!

A couple of good shots Gerry. Looks like there might be a pattern shot or two in the second if you can get closer.

I agree with John, there are some interesting looking patterns on those sawn ends, but you need to get much closer.

Funny, no sooner did I look at the second image and I immediately could smell the freshly cut boards (pine?)
I'd bit a little happier if #2 were rotated a bit clockwise.

Great idea, I could smell the wood as well.
Amazing what you can do with photoshop......and a band saw..!
