    Nice effort on a very difficult subject. Could use a bit of light to bring out detail.

    You might get away with a fraction more brightness, Brian, but be careful of the top right corner which will soon go into over exposure and ruin everything!

    I would probably use an adjustment layer with a mask to reduce that potential problem with some selective mask editing. But you do need suitable software.

    I am getting to where exploring more of Gimps potential seems like a good idea.
