Helpful Posts: I keep going back and forth with myself as to whether or not this needed a greater depth of field to have the woman also in focus. In the end I think not; I view the out of focus as part of the story. C&C solicited and always appreciated.

I'm not sure that the title "anguish" would have occurred to me without your prompt. She could be just stretching!
I agree with Chauncey, that focusing on her would be better, as it's her anguish we should be noticing.
Was this a staged shot, or caught on the fly?

Thank you for the comments. The shot was caught on the fly and while I know the back story it clearly didn't come through in the photograph. Learned something here.
