    Sunday Afternoon:

Late Sunday afternoon in mid winter.
    A place to regain sanity.

Beautiful contrast between the golden hour light and the shaded area Andre. Great picture.

Very nice and great lighting. Probably another photograph lurking in the reflections on the pond.

Nice lighting and sky for this shot. I just wish the mid-winters up here looked more like this one...

Thank you Grahame. Getting the WB right was important as I was shooting in Jpeg again.

    Thank you Manfred.

Interesting how the sky changes when you change the direction you are shooting in.

Well you know what they say, JHB probably has the best climate in the world.
Believe me it is cold when it drops below zero over here. How do you think I will cope in 30 below zero?

Heard Buffelsfontein dropped to 19.5 C below zero this winter. Lowest temp ever recorded in SA. So much for "earth warming".

Hi Andre Very nice and calming images. I would crop #2 from top to the top of the green tree in the middle in order to eliminate the bright empty sky.

    Beautiful images, Andre...Love the light.

BTW...if you have -30 where you are, you'd probably stay home and never go out again until you see melting snow in your front yard...
