Lovely image Rob! May I ask how you did it?

I am curious too. Do you need Photoshop to do something like that? Or can you do it in Lightroom?

I prefer Rob's version for the image but...I am not a fan of trashing a wedding dress,
    it's probably a generational thing.
Might suggest Goodwill as an alternative.

You are much too kind, Manfred. I feel I may have been heavy handed on the vignette but this was done at 3 in the morning since I could no longer go back to sleep. I'm glad I'm not being paid to do this.

You ask how, Binnur? It's magic. LOL.

Here's the link explaining how I did it: http://www.juzno.com/2014/07/more-muted-colors.html

Hi Daniel. Thanks for your interest. A lot of the heavy lifting is done in Photoshop using Nik Software Viveza. It's doable as well on Lightroom. Please see my response to Binnur.

    Hey Rob...

I think that it's really cool that you chose to explain how your edit was achieved but did you ask Kim's permission before you posted her photo to your website?

Many folks here are a bit sensitive about that and I assume your intentions were not sinister

No worries Kim. I was worried that this might upset your client as I wasn't sure if this was a paid shoot.

Rob, I didn't mean to offend you but on a number of occasions I have had my images used by other sites without my permission - it is always frustrating as there isn't a lot you can do. I probably brought a bit of my baggage to this thread

    Cheers, Shane. Completely understandable.
