    Nope. no bounce flash. What I did was tape tissue to my Nikon D5100 onboard flash to tone down the harsh straight on flash. Hoping its flash/ttl will coincide with its program-mode.

    I think it all depends on what one is trying to accomplish. I always use selective clarity on my portraits of elderly people as it emphasizes the wrinkles. It's quite the opposite when I'm processing portraits of young women. I tend to decrease clarity in this case.

    Interestingly, the skin tones in these look pretty much correct - I suspect that you're doing something in post-processing to throw them off.
