Dell U2412M is gorgeous!
Eventually got this 24" Monitor with e-IPS panel. Having got used to a high quality 2048 res monitor ( though TN ), was a bit skeptical about this one. But after a bit of adjustments with settings, it is truly a gorgeous monitor. Colours are vibrant but not overly vivid and the extra space ( 1920 x 1200, 16:10 aspect ratio ) does indeed add up. Using both LR5 and Paintshoppro X6, colours appeared as close to without any 'tints' which a few reviews talked about. Only if I see head down do I see a silverish / blackish tint otherwise the frontal and viewing angles are great. I am sure of tweaking this some more, just got it yesterday. Anyway great monitor and the 8ms does not seem to produce any lag. Fonts are clear too.

Hi Haseeb,
Ah was given a Dell 2410 @ a year ago. My niece's ex office monitor (she needs top quality screens as she works for an oil-related underwater camera company). It's 3 years old but is easily the best monitor ah've come across in many years. Simply superb.
Ah hope ah get her newest one in the next couple of years - 4k? super HD etc....

They are Carol, very clear and vibrant. I didn't think much of an IPS panel before but it has its place.

Haseeb - I have an other, larger version and was an instant convert to IPS screens. I have not been a great fan of Dell products, but their IPS screens are something I definitely recommend to other enthusiasts. They don't seem to be inexpensive until you look at other offerings with simiilar image quality; at that point they look like a bargain.
