    The beautiful little Mia...

There have been a lot of lovely dogs posted, so thought it was time for a kitty.

I still have to decide on which is more moving: the cat or the photo ~ ?
    Don't wait for it… may take a while! :-)

Definitely the cat; the photo is still, not video.

Seriously, I don't even like cats but I sure do like this photo. I only wish there was another tiny bit of space on the right side to completely clear the ear and that the fabric in the lower left corner was darkened and/or desaturated just a tad so as not to distract from that incredibly beautiful face.

Thank you for taking the time to share your views with me, I really appreciate it. Agree on both points.

What a beautiful photo! I love the muted colors surrounding Mia, yet the face is sharp; absolutely a wonderful image!

    Re: Mia

I remember in filmmaking, one technique to make the subject look more scary and ominous is to light from the bottom, creating light patterns and shadows that result in a bit of discomfort of the viewer.

I've noticed that this type of lighting seems to have been used here; and the cat has a bit of a sinister look to it. I'm sure some poor mouse would be inclined to agree. Nice image!!

Thanks everyone, Mia can be a furious little kitty. My other Ragdoll (Catman) had just woken her when I caught this. He is a true poser - I'll have to share him with you at some point.

    Beautiful cat photo.
Just a suggestion... I would remove the little highlights from the bottom of the left eyelid.
