I will admit to capturing the underlighting from the natural sunlight. I may even admit to creating it by flipping the shot to put the lighted area under rather than over. But I did nothing with artificial lights.

I think David's edit is a very big improvement. I'd consider blurring the background a bit, particularly on the top, where the in-focus twigs are a distraction. You can do this with a layer, but Glenn has posted instructions on how to do it with the LR adjustment brush.

Don't mind at all. The only trouble is that the yellow isn't the right yellow. It truly needs to be a dark almost brown yellow because except for the bright yellow in the original the rest was in shadow.

I am not so good with painting and precise adjustments. But I could have blurred them out other ways.
