Thanks for commenting. I am going back and forth about the crop on the right. I like to leave it for the same reasons as you... the color, but it does make a stronger composition with the crop. Can't decide what to do.

Simple (well easy for me to say) decide if the photograph is about kids at the end of beautifully lit wharf or a sunset cloud scape and crop accordingly.
