Riverbank Blackbirds

I have spotted a Heron on the same place of a local riverbank a few times last week, so I went on a stakeout after work. The heron flew over me a couple of times but never landed, but I did take a couple of photos of these 2 cheeky blackbirds and a sort of abstract reflection one.

Hi Matt,

I also think #3 is super! I love composition, especially the light and the reflections.

I also like #2. Very unique and artsy. I'd crop a bit of the water off of the image, about 1/2, if it were my image. The bird appears sharper in the 2nd image, and the lighting on the rocks is softer hence my preference for #2.

Yea the blackbird photos aren't very sharp, they were so far away!
