    Serenity

I got so excited watching this come to life -- shouldn't be doing processing before sleeping. ISO 800; 85M; F8; 1/250. Taken the weekend before the other pond image I posted.

This photograph is technically ok. This is very encouraging! However, the
same scene I would like to see in other light conditions and positioned so
that the brown things in the middle are hidden behind the bush. ;-)

    Hi Kim,

I agree with Kodiak, the bins have to go It's a lovely scene and if close to you has good potential.

One thing I admire about the images you have posted is that you are not over-sharpening.

Out of curiosity, do you use a tripod for shots such as this?

Thanks Daniel. The brown thing is a plontoon boat. Lesson learned - if others can't tell they will not find appearing.

Thank you Grahame. Yes. I agree about the boat.

No I have not been using a tripod for any of my shots to this point. Hoping for one for my upcoming birthday :-)

Hi Kim I like the image except for the plontoon boat. BTW , I have to tell you that you live in a very nice area with lots of green. Is this the place where your friend rides a horse ?

That boat :-( Thanks. We live in a very pretty area. Yes, that's the farm where my friend has her horse. They will be moving to a new barn at the end of this month as the owner is auctioning this beautiful place off.

    Re: Serenity

This is a serene and tranquil scene. The above comments will improve the image. In a few weeks there might be some fall foliage to add some more color.
