I have no idea of the outcome but I really do like the shadow.
Chuck...this is a wonderful way to start my morning! I like the shadow very much...as a jugular response to your question... I am eating pork!
I would be very surprised if the fish came back out without doing some serious damage Chuck. That shadow is magic.
Chuck,
I guess he did not swallow the fish, he picked up the tail only. No fish going down that throat – it is bent.
The fish is projected in the shadow. Well done.
Great image Chuck!
Hi Chuck, very nice image and I like the shadow , it really makes the photo
Well, I have to admit that I don't know the outcome, but I was interested in what others might imagine it to be. The bird flew off with the fish tail still sticking out of its mouth. When I took this photo I was sitting by the Sea of Cortez trying to photograph flying birds. This gull landed on the beach below me and I thought it provided an interesting opportunity for a photo.
Thanks for all of your comments. I enjoyed them very much.
B****r, that's totally unfair
Cool shot. The shadow is another fish about to swallow the gull. He was using the tail as bait
Grahame, I agree that is unfair. I thought the bird owed it to me to stick around and let me see the outcome. Paul, if it was another fish it must have been a flying fish.
