Making the Best with Bad Weather - Part One

Just to make sure I would have all the colours in the box, I was asked to
shoot once more. This time, the slope gardens are in Obegg and it's raining!

Please, take sceneries, take hands at work… and don't forget the beautiful
details you use to make etc. The details the wife of the owner is talking about
    are flowers, of course!

Wolfgang, the foreman, is feeling the pressure. If it starts to rain too much,
the grapes will burst and the harvest will be lost. "I'm counting on you!" he repeated.

    1. The clouds were closing in pretty fast and the harvesters went to work. Me too!
That's about all sun we had today… for the sceneries:

I was expecting some fierce looking clouds or splotches of rain everywhere. Nice series and back story.

Lovely lighting in 2, 3 and 4, and a good set altogether.

These are all beautiful, Kodiak, but I especially love the closeups of the grapes. Beautiful lighting!

Not many photos make me stop in my tracks and say WOW! However, #2 and #3 made me do just that. All are nice shots, but 2 & 3 are the cream of the crop. Well done.

Yes, I looked through part two, but, I like the shots in part 1 better. I have that same type of lighting here in Oregon during the change of seasons. It's a great time for photo ops.

    Hi Kodiak,

Lovely images. I especially adore #1 & #3 for the compositions and beautiful light. I also love #12 for the framing and the cows.

Seems like you have a wealth of expertise to share and I truly appreciate your doing so.
