Paris in the rain

This shot was taken while sitting on the banks of the River Seine having a glass of wine. Even in the torrential rain it was still great. All C&C welcome.

I love that you also captured the other side of the bridge apart from rain...it makes a good contrast to your main shot...beautiful. I can almost hear the pitter patter of the rain.

You have captured the mood superbly. I like the circular shape of the bicycle wheels being repeated by the grating around the tree. A very small crop off the right-hand side to remove the slither of post and the chopped in half bollard may be of benefit.

I dare not show the photo to my wife as she is likely to dash out and book some airline tickets to France.

And there are a couple of little bits of foliage at the top which aren't big enough to contribute anything, except distraction, so I would clone them as well.
