    Crimson Rosella

Went up to O'Reilly's Rainforest yesterday for a bit of a walk. Did a camera swap with a friend and for some reason couldn't change his settings !!!! My shots are very noisy, should have checked before I left. Anyway, I got this Rosella ... what a beautiful bird.

Hey Anne, this is a bird I see for the first time!

What I appreciate the most is your effort to present it in dynamic positions
and that you did not over worked the rendition! I thank you for the pleasure!

What a gorgeous rendering - the colors seem just right - you achieved.

Thank you so much Kodiak. My wish for the day was to see this bird, little did I know that the public can buy seed and feed them! There were several so my day was complete

Lucky you getting to O'Reilly's Rainforest. Visited there a few years ago. The number of birds there is a bit overwhelming.
A bit frustrating to be using a friends camera on their settings but you still got some good shots.

P.S. I always try to borrow a camera when I go out sailing but no one seems keen to lend me one.

I wanted to use AV or TV but they came out pitch black, had to wing it with manual and auto ISO - the ISO was sky high in most shots. We did a trade for the weekend, I had his 7D and he had my 6D.

O'Reilly's is truly amazing, it is only about 2 hours away so we will go again in a couple of weeks

Gorgeous colours on the bird Anne and interesting compositions. I do not see any significant noise concerns at this size.
