I thought you had a tube or two on David, very close and good detail. Good DOF especially in the first one, just right.

anyway no tubes on here, just the 100mm at 1-1 mag, because the subject is bigger than say a spider, it will look a lot larger in the frame

You did good on these ones, pal...although I like the semi profile of #1 than the harder one of #2 -- have you tried portrait on people? The posing is pretty much the same. I like the colours of the wings in #2 though..it is more precise.
