Bee-fly

This is an image of a Bee Fly, it is the first one I have seen around here since spring, they are very fast and never sit still for very long making them a real challenge to shoot C&C Welcome

Not your usual macro closeup but good composition...I like it. I like the flowers where it is situated to...your whites I would have expected to be too whites but you got that all good.

Yes they flit around so much, which makes photography difficult. But this has worked out well.

We just get the Spring species; but looking up more information I see that the Heath Bee Fly (rare here) does fly a little later.

That's the first time I have seen one of those David, interesting, it's got legs long enough to be a model.

Really like the opening shot, nice composition and exposure of those delicate flowers.
The last one is a super shot, I really like the detail and you have got it just right in the composition I think..
