When I click on it, I get a litebox with a picture of the same size.
What I mean, Tom, is that even at the small available, I see that theand I simply do not understand what you mean by "better" diffusion; it looks fine to me.
style, anthers, and filament do have a sharp shadow… pale but sharp.
A better diffusion of the light source could have taken care of it so that
no shadow is perceptible.

Got it! I thought you could get the original size by clicking on the posted one but I guess not. Maybe I should have blocked the light with my body and that would have done better at erasing the shadows than the fill-flash. Thanks much for the advice. And here, I hope, is the original size:

It is much more easier to see it here at CiC via the Tinypic if you upload it at 1200 px on the widest side...just a suggestion...
