For me, Mike, there is no context with the tighter crop. My first thoughts are, what, where, when, why, etc.
The full size image clearly shows this to be a building site and everything comes together.
I would like to see the full handle, or at least as much as possible. Maybe a 3 x 2 ratio which shows something of the workmen. Even a 4 x 5 ratio which loses the left broom but shows the workmen in the distance?
Or 5 x 4 ratio and still lose the left broom?
To me, the tool in the bottom right corner actually enhances the composition, even if it is out of focus.
However you crop, there are a few reflection spots which need to be cloned out.
If you like the scene...work it some more. Don't quit after one viewpoint. Grab a cuppa and watch this...I feel this image has potential; how could it be improved
