As Geoff mentions, looking at the histograms, the shot is underexposed (by over a stop).
Even if you wanted a lower key image, it
might have paid to give a more exposure when shooting, then pull down the highlights and whites in PP, leaving more low light detail for less noise. Although I guess that would compress the tonal range and it isn't currently very noisy at this size anyway.
You have posted png format, which is devoid of EXIF data.
I do like the composition though; the balance of trees at different distances and (I think) the bird adds to the environment. Although I saw the bird immediately, I don't consider it to be the subject, it is an integral part of an image of (what I would call) 'the jungle' (rightly or otherwise).
I prefer looking in detail at the B&W one, although the blue one has more 'atmosphere'.
If I listen carefully to the blue one, I can almost hear the bird
