Grahame...I love fishermen photos. Unless one is really quick with a high shutter speed, it is difficult to get it perfect. I remember you did one of those fisherman beauties a good while back and it was so perfect that eats my pants off with jealousy. I tried taking some fishermen shots when we went to Florida but luck wasn't on my side and fishermen in Australia where I live uses boats that goes out to the sea so I have no chance of catching a good shot like yours. Upload as many as you like. I don't tire of them.

I wouldn't darken the sky with a gradient Grahame, then IMO the silhouette wouldn't stand out so much, it is very nice as is

Thanks for looking in Frank. I have just returned from another visit to the location, I'm getting addicted

Here's another just for you then Izzie. I was just too late tonight but spotted four of them out in the water, sun behind, the net really well lit but they were pulling it in. By the time I got into position this is all I could grab.

I did darken the top of the sky Binnur and whilst it did not affect the silhouette at all I came to the conclusion it did not really help anything.

This is nice and simple, Grahame...neat shot really..I love that you captured the reflection of the sun on the beach itself and the net. I can just imagine this photo is not as catchingly beautiful as the real scene there as you see it because of those reflections. Love these kinds of scene in real life...good story here...

Absolutely gorgeous! Of the 3 images my favourite is the 2nd, for the net and the dark clouds and tones, against the brilliant sunset.

    Hi Christina,

    Thanks for the encouraging comment.

At present I've become addicted to trying to capture the setting sun with action in front of it and seem to have become a part of the scenery at the foreshore each evening, camera in hand just waiting for something to happen
