Helpful Posts: Yesterday I was hiking beside a lake in Colorado. It was covered with a thin layer of ice with nice crystal patterns. But added to that was a bubble under the ice, and it was breaking up the light into its component parts. It was as if it were a gem under the ice. I have never seen anything like this before. Thought I wouIld share it in CIC. Best if looked at in Litebox.

That's pretty cool and a good shot of it. I've seen lots of air bubbles under ice but never one like this one either.
